On February 28 we had our second meeting regarding the project. On this meeting we showed our latest advance on the development of the project´s GUI. The mayor problem for this checkpoint was to get the application to display the "Spinner" options that we wanted, nevertheless we managed to get the spinners working as we wanted.
The following pictures show the application running on the emulator on a hardcoded basis:
We have met with the client to show the advance on the project and the use cases that she originally requested. The client accepted and signed the acceptance requests and was happy with the development of the application.
The next step for the project will be the development of the Data Base and the way it´s going to interact with the application. To do that, we are going to meet with the tutor to have a better understanding of the process.

First project revision
In this first project revision, we discussed and showed several issues regarding the development of the first GUIs and functionalities of the RapiBus application. We presented 4 different GUIs which correspond to engineering tasks such as seat selection, passenger registration and trip selector.
In the seat selection part, we added some functionality for the client to be able to select the seat through an image on the screen.
The first revision went good, and some of the changes that we need to make on the development of the project is to follow the extreme programming techniques and incorporate all of our models and GUIs on one single machine instead of several. Also, we need to look for support on the integration of functionality to our User interfaces.

Google Code
RapiBus is originated from the idea of developing an application which allows the user to buy bus tickets. This application will be called BusTicket and will be running on the Android OS platform. The project itself comes from a client interested in taking its iOS platform into the rapidly growing Android market. Therefore, the client gave us the task to develop this application for Android. The development process includes the creation of the App GUI for the mobile platform, as well as the database where the clients and trip information will be stored. In addition, we will have to develop a system capable of making the interaction via web in between the GUI and the Database for the queries and updates.
This project will be part of our database semestral project, and will be developed using the extreme programming technique, which involves delivering a prototype every two weeks.
The project will be hosted on the Google code platform under the following URL:

Introduction
Rapibus is the name that we give to the proyect involving the creation of a mobile app for the Android OS in which users will be capable of reserving and checking for bus tickets on local companies. The proyect itself will include the creation of a client database as for a bus schedules database in which the mibile app will find support for the user. This database will be communicating over the web for queries from the app.
